Is online giving secure?
Absolutely. Depending on which web browser you are using, all information you are submitting is encrypted with at least 128-bit encryption. That prevents a third party from stealing or intercepting the data. Your web browser should display a padlock indicating that you have entered a secure area of our web site.
Is my personal information safe/protected?
Yes. At no point in the giving process will we store your personal or credit card information. Each of the pages has a "timeout" limit of five minutes so that in the event that you are drawn away from your computer, your session will be reset. This prevents you from starting the giving process and forgetting to finish it after you've already entered your credit card info.
Do you have a way to automate my monthly tithing?
We do not have any method available at this time via this web site. Some banks allow to you to set up automatic bill pay. Check with your bank for these services.
Will I get a receipt or confirmation that my gift was received?
You will have the option to specify an email address if you want the system to send you a confirmation email. If you forget to do this, the charge should appear on your account as being from Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church within 2-4 business days.
