Stewardship – to serve as one who manages another's property, finances or other affairs – is not just means for the church to raise money. It is a way of life that recognizes that everything we have is God’s, and we are simply managing those resources while here on earth.

The Bible is filled with examples of grateful response to God's generous gifts. The Bible also teaches about responsibility to share with others and warns against selfishness and misuse of God's economic resources.

Here are some ways to make a gift today

Credit Card - Use our secured online giving to your left.
Check - Drop your donation in the Sunday morning offering or in the mail.
Appreciated Stocks - Individuals who donate stock or mutual funds benefit by being able to:

  • Claim the market value of the security as a tax-deductible contribution
  • Avoid capital gains tax on the profit from the sale of the securities, thereby lowering the basis of the gift.

Stocks and mutual funds can be transferred to Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church through your broker. Stock transfers for current tax year must be tranfered by December 14th. We utilize Charles Schwab for these types of transactions. Download the forms to complete this type of giving. Contact Mig Willis with questions.
