Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church seeks to demonstrate the love of Jesus to one another and to our local community. We believe that because God loves us (and all people), we are to love one another and embrace our neighbors as family. Life is tough. Nobody should have to face its challenges alone or without resources. Our ministries of care and support are our way to ease those difficulties, as brothers and sisters in God’s family.
Whatever your stage in life, we want to be there for you when you need a church family to support and care for you. Much of this care is naturally shared in the context of our community groups and Bible studies. You also have access to our pastoral staff in times of need or changing circumstances. If you need prayer or counsel, you can tap in to our resources first by contacting our Director of Congregational Care. For ongoing support, our trained Stephen Ministers offer a listening ear and encouragement. The Deacons offer heartfelt services of support and comfort through home and hospital visits. Call the church office if you or a loved one have been admitted to the hospital or your medical status has changed. The Care Cottage provides food in times of need. Call to make an appointment, and you will be greeted lovingly and generously by our Deacons. We want to come alongside you as family!
