Lifelong Friendships Formed in a Community of Faith

209 exists to help high school students connect with God and with each other, and not necessarily in that order! We welcome students from all faith backgrounds as we explore who God is together. We share meals, support one another, ask challenging questions, and have lots of fun. Whether you’ve never missed a Sunday service or you’ve never set foot in a church building before, we hope you’ll find our high school ministry a place that feels like home as you experience and grow closer to our God.

High school is also a time of empowerment, and we step up our service and community outreach efforts by mentoring younger students, supporting mission trips, and assisting other community groups (like Habitat for Humanity and the Contra Costa County food bank).

209—named for the room we call home—knows that a robust community means plenty of fun balanced by deep discussions. Hard questions about identity (“Who am I?”), autonomy, (“Do I matter?”), and community (“Where do I belong?”) are wrestled with between corn maze and paintball expeditions. We hope you let us be part of your faith journey!

Parents: register your student for 2017-2018 by filling out a Student Participation Form. For students to participate in any WCPres activity, we must have a current form on file with parent/guardian signatures.

Sundays at 11AM

Students attend the main service (sit with us next to the baptistry!). 209 then meets afterwards on campus. Feel free to join us for lunch!

Thursdays at 7PM

During the school year, we meet in Room 209 for dinner, games and chilling, a brief talk, and small group discussions.
