The mission of Worship and Arts is to lead the congregation in the worship and praise of God through music, Scripture, prayer and the arts. A rich heritage of outstanding talent and diverse musical styles has played a central role in the history of worship at WCPC, with Drama, Dance and the Visual Arts rounding out the expression of worship. A group of dedicated volunteers of all ages give their best to God by using their gifts in this ministry. Members of the department also enjoy fellowship at various times during the year.
WCPC Music Teams
Worship Team meets weekly to practice and prepare for worship each Sunday on a rotating basis. Participation is based on openings and an audition is required. If you are interested in playing on the worship team or performing for various special music events, contact Ryan Taylor at 925.935.1574×130 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
This group welcomes all levels of musicians and new members may join at the beginning of the semester. Experienced ringers are always welcome to sub, too! Although having the ability to read music is helpful, it is not required – other members will be happy to help! The Bell Choir plays mostly classical pieces and takes time for fellowship and caring for one another. Rehearsal Time: Mondays, 7:00 – 8:30 pm. Questions about the bell choir? Contact Gertrud Jeffries at email@example.com.
