Most of us would agree that one of the biggest challenges our congregation has endured through the COVID-19 pandemic is not being able to gather face-to-face. While we have enjoyed virtual fellowship every week, we also miss being together in person. As the shelter-in-place restrictions slowly lift, it’s our hope that we will be able to gradually transition back to physical gatherings, and enjoy each other’s company while we worship.

Toward that end, we’d like to introduce a new option of worshipping on Sundays at a select number of “home church” locations. If and when statewide protocols are loosened to allow this, we will launch small gatherings within parishoner’s homes to watch our pre-recorded Sunday services together. These home church gatherings will of course be voluntary, but will allow us to worship together as well as linger for hospitality and discussion after the service ends.

If you are interested in hosting a home church gathering and can comfortably accommodate up to ten people around your own computer or TV screen, please email Pastor Brian Kay for more info on our brief training.

If you are interested in attending a home church, check back on this page soon for details about registering and a map to find a group near you.

Again, this ministry plan is contingent on the timing of restrictions being lifted, but we hope to have our “ducks in a row” when that day comes.Thank you for your open heart and your prayerfully considering joining us. And again, these home churches are voluntary. For those who feel they are high risk or want to migrate more slowly, please feel free to continue to worship virtually in the comfort and security of your own home.
